Arkansas State University was founded on 1-April-1909 by Act 100 of the 37th Arkansas General Assembly, which has been developed from an agricultural school.

Arkansas State University mainly focuses on educating leaders, enhance intellectual growth and enrich lives. In the Delta and the Mid-South region of their state, Arkansas State University acts as the catalyst for progress .

Arkansas State University being one of four Arkansas high schools which was created to teach agriculture, horticulture and the art of textile manufacturing. With their cutting-edge research capabilities, the university grants bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees through its various colleges.

Arkansas State University partnerships include hosting the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine which is Arkansas’ first osteopathic medical school, the creation of Mexico’s first American-style university with ASUCQ in Queretaro, and working with O’Reilly Management for the Red Wolf Convention Center and Embassy Suites
