Austin Peay State University is a public institution that was established back in the year 1927 and the university was named after the Governor of Tennessee of that time named ‘Austin Peay’. This accredited university stands on the site that is for the last 180 years or above has been used for educational purposes.

Teachings at Austin Peay State University are oriented in a way that makes students constructive and productive citizens. The University aspires to contribute to the economic social and cultural development of the region. To augment creativity, communication skills, and leadership, APSU offers programs in undergraduate, graduate, and student support. Some fundamental academic divisions at Austin Peay State University(APSU) are College of Arts and Letters, College of Business, College of Behaviour and Health Sciences, and College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics(STEM).
