About Barclay College

Barclay College is a private not-for-profit Christian college established in 1917 in Haviland, Kansas. The mission of the college is to prepare students in a Bible-centered environment for effective service, leadership, and the Christian life. The college welcomes students from all over the world and students from evangelical faith traditions with a solid biblical foundation and also from diverse backgrounds.

The college management felt that the purpose of the college would best be served by

introducing a 4-year institution. This has resulted in great support from the community and received general recognition in 1975 with accreditation by the American Association of Bible Colleges.

Barclay College Campus Life

The college apart from providing intellectual courses and training, they work hard on providing quality time for a student on the campus by conducting various events that help students in meeting new people and exploring themselves.

  • Barclay College Chapel is one of the significant parts of the college. Students, faculty, and staff meet twice a week to worship God together. It's mandatory for students to attend chapel on a regular basis.

  • Music Theory and Choir - Students are given the music theory for 4 semesters, giving them the tools they need to write and arrange music for their convenience. An opportunity is given to the students to perform and use the music skills that they have gained.

  • Christian service opportunities allow students to explore new opportunities or even create a new one for themselves. The college encourages students to participate in Christian Service assignments that are related to their chosen degree program.
