Broadview University is owned by Broadview Institute, Inc., a Privately traded corporation. Terry Myhre is the President and Jeff Myhre is the CEO of Broadview Institute, Inc.BUV started providing fully online programs in 2008 and has many campuses across the U.S.A. BVU is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools abbreviated as ACICS For Awarding Certificates, Diplomas, bachelors degrees and masters degrees and also to provide financial aid to its students.

Broadview University has introduced the CareerPath initiative through which offers online classes in six-week sessions making it easier for students to balance coursework with their daily routines. BVU Undergraduate Program Requirements

An applicant must satisfy the following requirements

  • Candidates have to achieve minimum score on the Accuplacer test administered at BVU as indicated for the All certificate, diploma, associate degree, and bachelor’s degree programs
  • Candidates should provide documentation of a bachelor’s degree granted by an approved institution as described in the Transfer of Credit section of this catalog.Provide documentation of a minimum composite score of 21 on the ACT.
  • Candidates have to provide documentation of a minimum composite SAT score of 1485. If SAT was taken prior to March 2006, provide documentation of a minimum composite SAT score of 990.
  • If a student took the CPA exam through Broadview University (BVU), Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB), or The Institute of Production and Recording (IPR) in the past, entrance scores will be honored according to the requirements listed in the catalog at the time of past enrollment. The student may be required to take the Accuplacer exam to determine appropriate placement in lab (remedial) classes.

  • Candidates should carry the documentation that shows that a student has completed a bachelors degree in an area related to graduate degree emphasis
  • Candidates should have a current professional resume
  • Candidates should make sure they have two professional letters of recommendation
