College of Southern Idaho is a public institution. CSI's vision began in the year 1952 when a Stanford doctoral student wrote his dissertation. In the year 1960, the foundation of the college came into the picture as a private college. Two years later, it started raising funds the government. The College of Southern Idaho provides a wide range of educational opportunities in its main campus in Twin Falls and its others centers in Burley, Gooding, Jerome, and Hailey. In the year 1965, the college started its first evening academic classes. 

The main aim of CSI is to provide quality education, social, cultural, and economic opportunities to meet the needs of each and every student.
