Fort Hays State University (FHSU) is a public institution established in 1902 as Western Branch of the Kansas Normal School. Later as a result of development, the institution was renamed to Fort Hays State University in 1977. FHSU attracts goal-oriented students who are seeking premier learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Financial Aid and Scholarships

FHSU provides various facilities to support students and its families. The university provides more than $59 million in the form of financial aid each year. The financial aid office is set up to assist the students in applying for financial aid. Scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study methods are some of the formats in which these aids are provided.
