The students, faculty, and staff get borrowing privileges with a GSW ID card.  GSW Alumni also have borrowing privileges. The university has a cooperative agreement with Lake Blackshear Regional Library and the Library at South Georgia Technical College. Reserve materials are placed at the Circulation Desk and it is not supposed to take outside. Faculty and relevant staffs may set up reserves for a longer time period if required.

The e-library comes with a lot of technological implementations. The online assistance is provided to help the users to solve any problem in accessing the library.

Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Soccer, and Tennis are the major sports participated by the GSW Canes. The facilities provided include Storm Dome at the Student Success Center, Hurricane Stadium in the Susan K. Smith Baseball and Tennis Complex, Griffin Bell Golf Links, GSW Soccer Field, Lady 'Canes Softball Field, and Fitness Center.

The university offers a unique experience in community living. The several residence choices of traditional residence hall rooms, suites, and apartments are constructed to meet the demands of our students. The residential community allows students the possibility of learning beyond the classroom walls and presents programs intended to meet the students’ social, intellectual, and educational needs.
