Gratz College is a private not-for-profit college located in Philadelphia and has a Jewish religious affiliation. It was founded in 1895 in North America as the first independent college for Jewish studies. Its mission is to provide the students with engaging and pluralistic education both for the personal enrichment and professional growth of a student. The college was founded as 'Hebrew Sunday School Society' by Rebecca Gratz to provide education to the Jewish community during 1838.

'Tuttleman' is the name of the college library which is an academic research library helping the students with the different courses the students are pursuing.
