Immaculata University is a private not-for-profit university located at Chester in Pennsylvania. It was granted a college charter in 1920 and the university is considered to be the birthplace of modern college women’s basketball. It received a university status and was renamed as the present name in 2002 acknowledging its infrastructural growth, popularity and academic proficiency.
