About Lakeland University

Lakeland University was established more than 150 years ago by some German immigrants who cleared the land and constructed the first buildings of the campus. It is a private not-for-profit institution. By the end of 1800, enrollments were no longer limited to pre-theological students and strong programs of study were developed with a wide number of disciplines. Lakeland launched the state’s first degree-completion program for working adults in 1978. Lakeland College became Lakeland University on July 1, 2016.

Lakeland University Online

Lakeland University Financial Aid

The university provides financial aid to students who are in need of financial support to fulfill their educational dreams. These are given in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study. The Lakeland University Athletics has an online portal from which students can get all the information regarding the sports activities in the campus. Some of the sports played are Basketball, Baseball, Golf and Wrestling played by both men and women. There are different fields for baseball, soccer, and softball. The students are also provided with the gymnasium and fitness center.
