Lynn University is a private not-for-profit type university, headquartered at Boca Raton, Florida. It started as a finishing school for women in 1962 by the religious order of the Sacred Heart of Mary. It is an internationally renowned university.

They play a variety of sports such as Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball, Track and Field, and X-country. Fighting Knights is the varsity athletics team name. They are nationally honored for brains and brawns. They won 24 national championships.
