Massasoit Community College is a public institution that was established in the year 1966 with 358 students and 22 faculties and is located in Brockton, Massachusetts. The campus was opened officially in the year 1972 and received the accreditation. In the year 1985, the Blue Technical Institute was formally merged with the college and now it is the Canton campus of the college .

In the year 1997, the Conference Center at Massasoit opened offering 7,200 square feet of meeting space for local businesses. The main aim of the college is to provide quality education and offer accessible and innovative programs that prepare students for the real world.
