The foundation of National University of Health Sciences was laid down in the year 1906. The motto of the varsity is Esse Quam Videri and its official colors are maroon and goldenrod. In addition to over 70 undergraduate students, NUHS also boasts of over 616 students in its postgraduate courses, taking the total enrollment to over 686.
