Northeast Texas Community College is a public institution that was set up in the year 1984. The college aims to provide responsible, exemplary learning opportunities by challenging students to acquire the values and habits associated with post-secondary education and make a fundamental impact on the mindset, worldview, and aspirations on its students, through personal involvement between the faculty, staff, and students.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

NTCC financial aid and student services staff at the College help its students plan for the cost of college. The office staff will help the students identify financial aid options, scholarship opportunities, and employment choices.

  • Federal aids like Federal Pell Grants and Federal SEOG (Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant) are available. Student loans such as Direct Subsidized Loans, and Direct Unsubsidized Loan are also available but unlike grants, loans are borrowed money that must be repaid with interest. Federal Work-Study option is an employment-based aid where students work in or around the campus and earn additional income to cover the fees.
