Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is a public institution which was established in 1964 and offers quality education at an affordable price. It is located in Annandale, Virginia. It is the largest public educational institution and the second largest community college in the United States.

Nova was initially known as Northern Virginia Technical College and was renamed as 'Northern Virginia Community College' by 1966. It has over 75,000 students and 2,600 faculty members. It consists of 5 campuses that are regionally located in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Woodbridge, Manassas, MEC along with Reston Educational Centre and ELI.
