For Undergraduate Admissions

All Undergraduate Applicants can submit an application for admissions in the following way:

  • Acquire an Application from the Admissions Office, then complete the application, with a $40 application fee and other required materials to address below. Application fees are waived if the application is submitted online.
  • Complete and Submit Application online at www.post.edu/apply.

Freshman Admissions

With the Application, Applicants must:

  • Submit an Official High School Transcript.
  • The test score of an Official Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) to the Admissions Office. The school code for the SAT is 3698, and the school code for ACT is 0580.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation for regular admittance is required.
  • Campus visits, scheduled meeting with the Admissions Counselor or a scheduled phone interview is recommended.
  • If an applicant has received a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) test score with an Official copy of the coursework completed at the high school.

Undergraduate Transfer Admissions

Post University has a credit policy that allows applicants to

  • Transfer up to 90 credits, earned from an accredited institute towards a Bachelor’s degree program
  • Receive college credits for Military training and Life experience
  • Receive credits for DANTES and CLEP.

Post University will evaluate for credit transfer after the admission decision. To begin the process, complete the steps below

  • Complete an application for admission with a $40 application fee. Applications submitted online has no application fees.
  • If transferring with an Associate Degree from an accredited College or University and this degree is compatible with bachelor degrees no high school transcript is required.
  • If other than an Associate Degree will require a High School Transcript in addition to the transcript from the transferring college.
  • An academic letter of recommendation is required.

If the applicant has earned less than 30 eligible college credits

  • Submit an Official High School Transcript with Date of Graduation.

  • Schedule a personal interview with an admissions counselor. If a personal interview is not possible, a phone interview can be scheduled.
  • An academic letter of recommendation is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

Undergraduate students can transfer up to 90 credits from a four-year institution towards a Bachelor’s degree or up to 45 credits towards an Associate degree. From a two-year institution, up to 75 credits can transfer towards a Bachelor’s degree or up to 45 credits towards an Associate degree.  Students who wish to transfer individual courses must have a minimum grade of C.  Students who wish to transfer individual courses from an already completed degree can transfer credits for courses with a minimum grade of D.

Honor Program Admissions

Admissions Criteria for Honor Program for Freshmen

  • High School CGPA of at least 3.25 and combined SAT score of 1500 or ACT score of 24
  • Recommendation letters from teachers and school counselor are required.
  • A record of leadership and community involvement.

Admissions Criteria for Upperclassmen and Transfer Students

  • 3.25 Minimum CGPA after completing at least 15 college credits
  • A record of leadership and community involvement.

Home School Students

Post University welcomes Home-Schooled Students to apply for admissions. Follow these steps for admissions:

  • Application for Admission: Request an Official application for admissions from the Admissions Office. Complete and submit the application. A $40 application fee is applicable.
  • Secondary School Transcript: Official Transcripts are required. If transcripts are not available, applicants are required to submit a portfolio indicative of their academic achievements. This can include grades from community college AP exam results independent research in mathematics science or any academic subjects or proof of completing high school graduation requirements.
  • Official Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) results. In this context, SAT and ACT are given more importance and help in evaluating the student’s academia. School code for SAT is 3698 and school code for ACT is 0580
    • A high school study plan signed by the parents or provider of the homeschooling, and a state secondary completion credential if applicable
    • Personal Essay Statement: Decision to be homeschooled and description of homeschool experience.
    • Letter of Recommendation: An Academic letter of recommendation is required.

Application for Graduate Admissions

All graduate applicants need to do the following

  • Acquire an application from the Office of Admissions. Complete and submit the application with $50 application fee with all the required documents.
  • Apply Online at www.post.edi/apply. There are no application fees if applied online.
  • Along with the application, applicants need to submit:
    • Official Transcripts from all previous institutions.
    • Provide a personal essay describing qualification Post’s graduate program (2500-500 words).
    • Two letters of recommendation; an academic and a professional.
    • A personal interview may be requested.
    • All students are encouraged to Visit the campus and meet the Admissions Counselor.
    • International students are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
    • Eligible Transfer applicants can transfer up to 9 credits from an accredited graduate program.

Post University welcomes applications from International students. International students must submit the following documents to the Office of International Admissions

  • Application for admission
  • English translation of all Official Transcripts, if applicable.
  • A Letter of Recommendation from a faculty or employee.
