About the Scholarship

Abilene Christian University National Merit Finalist or Semifinalist Scholarship is awarded by Abilene Christian University. The foundation was started in the year 1906, ACU’s mission is to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world.

How to apply for a Merit Finalist or Semifinalist Scholarship?

  • Students must have completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Official transcript and a letter of recommendation describing their behaviors and activities from a previous school or college must be provided.

  • Candidates must demonstrate Financial need directed by the Student's financial aid office.

 

Abilene Christian University National Merit Finalist or Semifinalist Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides a full tuition fee valued at approximately $32,020 for the current academic year.

  • The awards are renewable for up to a total of nine semesters provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.2 and meets additional campus policies set by ACU.

  • the total number of awards by this scholarship varies depending on the availability of students and funds.

 

Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of February 01, 2020. the applications are available on the Abilene Christian University website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4 to be eligible for applying for the scholarship.

  • The applicant should also meet additional campus policies set by ACU.
