About the Scholarship

AFSA High School Senior Scholarship Contest is licensed by The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA). The foundation is a non-profit, international association representing which was established in 1981 to provide the merit shop fire sprinkler contractor with training, consulting, communication, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems.

The High School Senior College Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors who are citizens or aliens legally residing in the USA.


What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Applicants must submit a completed entry form with all required information.

  • Students are required to demonstrate financial need to meet eligibility.

  • Candidates must submit an essay as described in the application form.

  • The understudies applying for this award must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application. 


AFSA High School Senior Scholarship Contest award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $2000 each year which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to ten candidates depending on the availability of funds and students meeting their requirements.


Deadline info

The applications are to be presented before the end of April 01, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a citizen or an eligible non-citizen of the U.S.

  • The applicant must be a high school senior.

  • The applicant may be home-schooled with an equivalent course of study of high school senior.

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident or a legal non-resident of the states of U.S.
