About the Scholarship

Air Force ROTC Scholarship is accredited and is provided by the Air Force ROTC. The main aim of this organization is to fly, flight, and win in air and cyberspace.

Air Force ROTC develops the leaders of tomorrow by preparing students to become officers in the U.S. Air Force while earning a college degree. 


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • Students must first create an Air Force ROTC account and sign up with their unique username and password.

  • Candidates are required to submit an official transcript to prove their excellence in academics. In addition, an individual must scan and upload the counselor certification form.

  • The understudies applying for this award must also present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application form along with all supporting documents to determine the financial position of a student's family to pay for their education.


Air Force ROTC Scholarship Award Amount

  • This scholarship award varies annually and is non-renewable. The award amount is provided based on the availability of funds in the foundation.

  • The total number of awards offered through this scholarship varies based on the students meeting their requirements and the total number of applications received for the current academic year.


Deadline Information

All the necessary documents must be sent to the respective department no later than January 31, 2020, to be eligible to receive the scholarship amount. Any application form received after the deadline will not be considered for the valuation.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be enrolled in any program for a qualifying academic major.

  • A student must be exceptional in their academics and have a grade point average of 3.0 out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • The applicant must have a score of 1240 in the SAT and 26 in the ACT tests. 

  • A recipient must be between 17 and 31 years of age at the time of application.

  • Candidate must also complete a 24-day summer field training course at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
