About the Scholarship
Al Barr Memorial Scholarship was established by the MML Foundation Board Member John Barr.
he John Barr Leadership Education Scholarship was created in order to provide local elected and appointed officials the knowledge and skills they need to lead and govern their communities.
What is the application procedure?
The applicants who are applying for this scholarship must fill and submit the scholarship application form that can be found on the official website of the scholarship.
In addition to that, all applicants must submit the official transcripts of school or college to determine their academic enrollment in graduate studies and demonstrate their excellence in academics.
A candidate must give reference letters from his or her faculty member and a letter of transmittal.
Additionally, an applicant must prove their academic excellence by submitting ACT/SAT scorecards before the deadline.
Award Amount and Deadline
The sponsoring organization is giving a one-time scholarship of up to $3000 to all the students who deserve it.
Student is advised to send their official transcripts and documents to the concerned department no later than 30th November 2019 to be one among the eligible applicants to receive the scholarship. Any application sent post-November will be disqualified and will not be considered for evaluation.
An applicant must graduate from a Stanislaus County high school to be eligible for the scholarship.
A student applicant must be a transferring or graduating student from Modesto Junior College.
The student must be enrolled for an approved four-year program in graphic communications major or art major.
