About the Scholarship
NAMI Scholarship Foundation was the one to establish scholarship in the year 1995 to recognize exceptional U.G students pursuing degrees in Animal, Meat, Food Sciences, and Culinary Arts.
The main motive behind this foundation is to collect donations and establish an endowment to help and encourage students financially to pay for their education. Scholarships are merit-based and presented annually to accomplished students pursuing an education that will lead to a career in the meat industry.
How to apply for this scholarship?
To begin with this scholarship application, all recipients must complete the online application form that can be found on the official website of the scholarship.
The scholarship application requires a student's personal information, hence all applicants must clearly fill and submit the form with all the necessary documents.
Additionally, an applicant must submit the official transcripts of their ACT/SAT scorecards to prove that they are academically strong to receive the scholarship fund.
All applicants are also required to provide their college/institution's transcript to determine academic enrollment.
Award Amount and Deadline Information
Each applicant will get $5000 through this scholarship award. Every year only one applicant will receive this funding opportunity.
The Applications for the 2020-2021 academic year will open in the spring of 2020. Hence all applicants must visit the official website to get to know about the deadline date and send their documents before the deadline to avoid their application being disqualified.
An applicant must be attending a four-year institution as an undergraduate student.
A student should have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above to be eligible for the scholarship.
An applicant must maintain a good academic standing during the term of the scholarship.
Candidates must work in or for the meat industry preferably in post-harvest production.
