About the Scholarship
Andrew Macrina Scholarship Fund is recognized and is sponsored by the American Culinary Federation.
The organization was started in the year 1929, ACF is the premier professional chefs’ organization in North America with more than 17,500 members in over 150 chapters nationwide.
Andrew Macrina Scholarship provides culinary students with assistance in covering the cost of culinary programs.
How to apply for this scholarship?
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application must be submitted by the students who are applying for this grant.
The applicant must also submit two letters of recommendation from industry and/or culinary professionals.
Candidates must have to complete the Financial Aid Release Form.
Students are required to submit their official transcript showing his/her current grade point average to prove their academic excellence.
Scholarship Amount and Deadline
This scholarship provides $1000 each year which is non-renewable.
The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to 5 candidates who exhibit excellence in academics.
The applicants are required to submit their scholarship application and other requirements before the due date, the deadline for the application is fixed on December 31, 2020.
An applicant must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.
The applicant must be a left-handed student enrolled for a major in culinary or pastry arts at an accredited post-secondary college.
The applicant must pursue a career as a chef or pastry chef to avail the scholarship benefits.
