About the Scholarship
APA Charles Abrams Scholarship is accredited by the American Planning Association. APA was started to provide financial assistance and paid internships in recovery and rebuilding efforts. The scholarship is awarded to Graduate students who are enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment at one of the five schools at which Charles Abrams taught.
How to apply for this scholarship?
The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.
A letter of recommendation must be submitted by the student.
Students must demonstrate financial need to meet the eligibility.

This scholarship provides $2000 which is non-renewable.
The number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the students meeting their eligibility and availability of funds.
The applications are to be submitted by the end of April 30, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the American Planning Association website.
The applicant must be U.S. citizen.
The applicant must be a graduate student.
The student must have enrolled at one of the five schools namely, Columbia University, Harvard University, MIT, New School University, or the University of Pennsylvania, at which Charles Abrams taught.
