About the Scholarship

Aqha Region One Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship is supported by the American Quarter Horse Foundation. The establishment was shaped in the year 1940 the American Quarter Horse Association has been clearing a route for passionate horseman and horsewomen to meet up for the sake of the American Quarter Horse for the breed's safeguarding, celebration, and headway.

Aqha Region One Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship is provided to ideal candidates who reside within Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Oregon or Washington and have been a member of AQHYA or AQHA, as well as one of the above AQHA state affiliates for at least one year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who want to apply for 2 or 4 years the undergraduate degree of his/her choice.

  • Candidate should be a member of AQHA/AQHYA for at least one year and be a resident of  Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Idaho or Oregon.

  • Candidate should apply while pursuing the senior year of high school or while registering at an accredited college, vocational school or university.

  • Candidate should have maintained 2.5 GPA throughout.
