About the Scholarship
The American Quarter Horse Foundation (AQHF) provides scholarships to eligible students based on their financial need, academic achievements, and involvement in the organization, communication, and leadership skills.
The AQHF Nebraska Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship is awarded to high school senior graduates who are enrolled in an accredited university, college or vocational school for a four-year undergraduate degree program of any choice.
AQHF Nebraska Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship Awards
The scholarship amount worth $8000 is awarded to eligible students. The number of awards and the scholarship amount may vary every year.
The scholarship is non-renewable.
AQHF Nebraska Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship Application
The applicants must be high school senior students or must be enrolled in a university or college for an undergraduate degree.
Preference is given to AQHYA or AQHA members who are residing in the state of Nebraska.
The applicant must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a scale of 4.
The application must include the following importing documents:
An application form consisting of financial information about the student.
Three reference letters or appraisal forms.
A transcript from high school or college.
Three recommendations (may include the reference letters).
AQHF Nebraska Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship Application Deadline
The application materials must be submitted to the scholarship committee of the organization before 1st December without fail.
Scholarship exclusive for AQHA or AQHYA members at least for one year
Applicants should be from Nebraska
Applicants should be a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
