About the Scholarship

Aquinas College is continuously assessing each student’s ability to contribute to his or her education. Financial aid is awarding the Aquinas College Transfer Scholarship to assist those students who do not have enough resources to meet their educational expenses on their own. To assist students to achieve a liberal arts education, various federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs are established.

The scholarship is applied to the traditional-age students who transfer from college with a cumulative grade point average specified by the financial aid of Aquinas college. In addition to that, applicants must also demonstrate their great economical burden in the view of pursuing academic study. The applicants must show satisfactory academic progress in order to receive this award.


How to Apply for Scholarship?

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, an applicant must fill and submit a FAFSA application form to determine the financial position of his/her family.

  • A student must clearly provide the information in the FAFSA application. Based on the information provided in the FAFSA, the student will receive SAR and can get assisted financially.

  • In addition to FAFSA form, an applicant must provide official documents of the institution and high school.

  • To demonstrate the academic performance, a student needs to submit the official transcripts and ACT/SAT scorecards before the deadline.


Award Amount and Deadline:

The scholarship amounts to $11000 to any number of applicants and it is renewable up to two additional years of student's academic study who maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.7 every year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A student should maintain a cumulative college GPA of 3.0 - 3.49 as specified by the financial aid of Aquinas College to be eligible for the scholarship

  • A student should study at Aquinas College and be a legal resident of the United States.

  • The scholarship is only for traditional-age students.
