About the Scholarship
The "Ayn Rand - Anthem Essay Contest" scholarship award is given by the organization 'Ayn Rand Institute' which assists and encourages the students who are going to make their career at Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. This organization wants’ the people as a graduate and undergraduate's who are interested in writing novels or essays.
How to apply for the scholarship?
There are no applications for this scholarship. Students, who are willing to apply must write an essay within 600 to 1200 words on one of the three topics listed on the Ayn Rand Institute website.
That essay should be mailed to the foundation or to the given the address in the online form.
A candidate must have to submit a FAFSA certificate to determine his/her family's financial position to pay for education.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
For applying for this scholarship, an applicant must mention his/her name, school's name, the teacher's name who assigned the topic, and the topic selected.

Scholarship Award Amount
First prize - $2,000.
Second prizes - $500
Third prizes - $200
Finalist prizes - $50
Semifinalist prizes - $30.
All the above-mentioned awards are made on an annual basis and all of the awards are non-renewable. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates is 240.
Deadline for the scholarship
All the above-mentioned documents must be sent to the concerned department on or before the end of April 25.
Any delay in the submission of the application form will be rejected.
The applicant must reside in the U.S. or be a permanent resident to be eligible for the scholarship.
He/she must be in the eighth, ninth or tenth grade at the time of entry.
An applicant must be juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
A candidate must be 25 years of age or younger at the time of application.
