About the Scholarship

Baptist Theological Heritage Scholarship is accredited by Harvest Bible Institute and Theological Seminary. The foundation is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit public charity and thrives off of the love offerings of others to cover expenses. HBITS was started to provide a great quality biblical education that helps to appreciate and understand the deeper things of scripture. 


What are the requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • The student must describe his/her community service activity or significant leadership in a group activity.

  • The student must show proof of graduating from High School (transcripts will be required-they can be mailed after the enrollment process, but the student can not graduate without them.)


Baptist Theological Heritage Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $9900 annually including tuition fees and is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is up to 350 students meeting their eligibility criteria.

  • The candidates will be automatically accepted and the program will then be closed If students enter at the associates level and complete four years.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of July 15, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Harvest Bible Institute and Theological Seminary website.

 

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree program

  • Applicant must be a high school graduate

  • Applicant must attend college in Houston, Texas campus

  • Applicant must understand that there is no student housing available and the applicant has to reside in Houston, Texas

  • Applicant should formally apply and be accepted to the seminary

  • Only 350 applicants meeting the above-mentioned eligibility requirements will automatically be accepted and the program closes then
