About the Scholarship

Baptist Theological Heritage Scholarship is accredited by Harvest Bible Institute and Theological Seminary. The foundation is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit public charity and thrives off of the love offerings of others to cover expenses. HBITS was started to provide a great quality biblical education that helps to appreciate and understand the deeper things of scripture. 

What are the requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to demonstrate the financial need of their family.

  • The student must describe his/her community service activity or significant leadership in a group activity.

  • In addition to that, applicants must provide the scorecards of the ACT/SAT to determine their academic eligibility.
  • The student must provide the official transcripts of High School where he/she has enrolled in.

Baptist Theological Heritage Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $9900 annually including tuition fees and it is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is up to 350 students meeting their eligibility criteria.

Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of July 15, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree program

  • A recipient must be a high school graduate

  • A candidate must attend college in Houston, Texas campus

  • A student must understand that there is no student housing available and the applicant has to reside in Houston, Texas

  • Applicant should formally apply and be accepted to the seminary

  • Only 350 applicants meeting the above-mentioned eligibility requirements will automatically be accepted and the program closes then.
