About the Scholarship

Bellarmine University Scholars Scholarship is awarded by Bellarmine university. The foundation is an Independent catholic University in the south. The university focuses on granting scholarship assistance to education based in the liberal arts – and in the distinguished, inclusive Catholic tradition of educational excellence. The Bellarmine Scholar Award is provided to first-year students who have planned to attend the college and are provided with a full tuition fee for up to 4 years and financial grants. Bellarmine University Scholars Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. Merit scholarships are given to individual students based on their academic talent, service, or leadership achievements. This award offers its students to study out of state with a remuneration and registering in Bellarmine’s Honors Program.


What are the basic requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?

  • Students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their FAFSA application to meet eligibility.

  • Merit scholarships are awarded above and beyond other financial aid students receive.

  • Candidates must submit their official transcripts along with their ACT/SAT scorecards.

 

Bellarmine University Scholars Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $40350 annually which is renewable for up to 3 additional years depending on the students maintaining their academic progress.

  • The scholarship offers 5 awards annually based on financial need.

 

Deadline information

The students are informed to submit their scholarship applications and other required application before the deadline, deadline dates on December 01, 2020. Applications and other informations are available on the Bellarmine University website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 29 (SAT composite score of 1300) and a minimum 3.4 GPA.

  • The applicant must submit the required Bellarmine Scholars essay.

  • Applicant finalists are chosen and must participate in the Bellarmine Scholars weekend competition.
