About the Scholarship

Beta Sigma Psi Martin Luther Scholarship was accredited by the Beta Sigma Psi. The foundation was established in the year 1925 by an organization of Christian men that were looking for more meaning during their time in college than Bible Studies and cookouts. The Martin Luther Scholarship is offered to young men who are planned to attend their first-year college at any college or university for 4 years. 


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • The students applying for this grant demonstrate financial need and a strong work ethic.

  • Students must provide a letter of recommendation describing their own.


Beta Sigma Psi Martin Luther Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $2000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year based on their academic progress.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of February 17, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Beta Sigma Psi website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be a male member of a Lutheran congregation.

  • The applicant must be in their first beginning.
