About the Scholarship

Bonnie Tiegel Memorial Scholarship Program

 The Entertainment Tonight and the Tiegel Family has established The Bonnie Tiegel Memorial Scholarship program. For more than 20 years they are giving this scholarship to the high school students. The scholarship program is designed to assist students who plan to continue their education with a degree in broadcast journalism, communications, or journalism. High school seniors (at least 17 years of age) or graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduates, who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study, can apply for the scholarship.

Bonnie Tiegel Memorial Scholarship Program Award

If the students are selected for the Bonnie Tiegel Memorial Scholarship, the student will receive a $2,500 award. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Bonnie Biegel Memorial Scholarship Program Application Deadline

Submit the application before July 29.2019. Early submission leads to rank first in the application pool because for Bonnie Tiegel Memorial Scholarship Award  they only consider first 250 applicants and make sure all the details are up to date and error free before submission


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a high school senior, graduate or a postsecondary undergraduate student.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year university or college as a full-time student.

  • The applicant must be pursuing a degree in journalism, communication or broadcast journalism.

  • The applicant must be a child of a CBS Television Distribution employee.
