About the Scholarship

Boston Chapter CPCU Scholarship is accredited by Boston Chapter CPCU Society Chapter Inc. The foundation is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education. This scholarship is provided to any spouse or dependent of a member in good standing with the National Society and our Chapter. A spouse or dependent of a deceased chapter member.

What are the basic requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Candidates should demonstrate academic standing and civic projects, fraternal, recreational or other organizations.

  • Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation of their interest to the committee.

Boston Chapter CPCU Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $2000 each year which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to one candidate each year.

Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of June 30, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Boston Chapter CPCU Society Chapter Inc website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a good standing member's spouse or dependent of Boston Chapter.

  • The applicant must be a high school student who will be enrolling in an institution of advanced education.

  • The applicant can be a high school student currently in an advanced education institution.
