About the Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to be given to a deserving individual who will go forward in the community, make indifference in the world around them, and overcome the financial burden of a student's college education.

The Brooke Ashton Parker Foundation is a non-profit organization created to honor the legacy of our full of life friend and family member. The foundation hopes to raise awareness for drunk driving and help provide scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors looking to pursue higher education.


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • In order to apply for this scholarship application, an applicant must provide general information.

  • A student must give details about the list of Scholarships, awards, loans, or grants he/she has received.

  • In addition to that, he/she must also provide a participated list of high school activities and honors achieved. 

  • An applicant is also required to submit the high school/ college transcripts to demonstrate their excellence in academics.

  • Finally, A letter of recommendation from a student's high school principal, counselor, teacher, pastor, or friend.

  • Additionally, an applicant must answer the questions posted on the official website.


Award Amount and Deadline

The scholarship amounts to $2500.00 which will be paid according to the financial aid rules to all the eligible candidates.

All the above-mentioned documents and forms must be submitted to the concerned department no later than the 13th of April to be eligible for the scholarship.



Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be a graduating senior in the West Texas or Panhandle area and planning to attend a college or university in majoring in a sports medicine field.

  • The applicant must demonstrate a record of good spirit and works and be pursuing a degree in athletic training, sports medicine, or any related field.

  • A student must submit a completed application to the high school counselor by the announced deadline or to the Brooke Ashton Parker Scholarship Committee.

  • A candidate must be willing to abide by all criteria for payment of the scholarship.
