About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by the Cedar Crest College, a college that has designed a curriculum to help women succeed at the highest levels. Acknowledging the multi-dimensional nature of students, the college is committed to the training of the up-and-coming generation of women and preparing them for life in the global community. Their sibling award is for siblings who are concurrently enrolled at the college during the regular academic year (Fall/Spring).


 How to apply for the scholarship?

  • The applicant must complete the application which can be found on the Cedar Crest College site.
  • Along with the application, the applicant should also submit a personal essay of 250-500 words on a topic of her choice, official academic transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, two teacher evaluations, and FAFSA.
  • There is no fixed deadline to apply for this award but for priority consideration, the applicant should submit his/her application by December 1 for the spring semester and February 15 for the fall semester.

How much the scholarship award amounts to?

The award amounts to $2,000 annually, for up to four years. 


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • Must enroll full time.

  • Must attend Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.

  • Must have a traditional full-time sibling concurrently enrolled at Cedar Crest College during the regular academic year (fall/spring)
