About the Scholarship

Chicago Engineers' Foundation Incentive Award is authorized by Chicago Engineers Foundation. Chicago Engineers Foundation advanced from the Chicago Engineers' Club, an association built up in 1903 as an expert, social and systems administration bunch for the Chicago engineering community. The establishment aims to encourage and empower youngsters to turn into the upcoming engineers through grant openings, effort to instructive organizations, and advancing interest in engineering careers. This grant is given to graduating secondary school seniors who live or go to secondary school in the city of Chicago, and are acknowledged to licensed school or college designing projects.


What are the basic procedures to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Students must submit their ACT/SAT scorecards to receive this grant.

  • Students must demonstrate financial need to meet the eligibility.

  • This scholarship provides $1000 annually which is non-renewable.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship depending on the availability of funds and the number of students meeting their eligibility.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of April 24, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online from the Chicago Engineers Foundation website.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a high school graduate who is planning to study engineering.

  • Applicant should do a college degree in the city of Chicago.

  • Applicant should have at least 2.5 GPA.

  • Applicant should show SAT scores of 990 or 21 in ACT.
