About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Reidy Law Office LLC. A law firm that works with families through a number of different issues. They have attorneys who understand that families come in different shapes and sizes and that a growing child needs a peaceful environment. The Children of a Non-Traditional Family Scholarship is awarded to students who grew up in a non-traditional family and how it had a positive effect on their life, and how it gave you insights and experiences that are unknown to individuals fom s traditional family.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Interested applicants should write an original essay of around 1000 words or less, describing how growing up in a non-traditional family positively shaped your life and provided you with insights that individuals from traditional families might not have. At the end of the essay, include a short explanation of how, if chosen you will use the scholarship funds to pursue your educational goals.
Along with the essay, the applicant should also submit a resume, GPA scoresheet, and academic transcript.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $1,000 yearly
The deadline date is set for August 31
- The applicant must be currently enrolled or about to attend an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the U.S.
- Applicants must have a minimum current GPA of 3.0
