The Church's Chicken Community Scholarship Program grants awards to students in the U.S. who aspire to pursue higher education and exhibit exemplary academic performance, leadership skills, and involvement in community and school activities.
The scholarship is awarded by the Church's Partners Foundation, Inc. and the program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. The selection of recipients or awardees is made by the Scholarship Management Services and their final decision is to be accepted by all the applicants.
The scholarship amount is $1,000 and is awarded annually. Scholarship Management Services processes scholarship payments on behalf of CPF and the amount is non-renewable.
The checks are made payable to the school and will be mailed to the recipient's home address by August 1, 2020.
The Church's Partners Foundation, Inc. anticipates awarding 175 awards annually.
The scholarship applications are available online on the Church's Chicken Community Scholarship Program website.
Supply a valid email address, and create a username and password
Go through the consent statement and agree to the same in order to access the online application
Scholarship Management Services reviews the electronic applications and selects the finalists
The finalists are required to submit supplemental materials to verify that the information provided on their application form is true
These additional materials include current transcripts and an applicant appraisal by the teacher, employer or an adult.
This is not a financial need-based scholarship, but the applicant's unusual personal and family circumstances are taken into consideration.
All applicant must submit the online scholarship applications by February 15, 2020. The deadline has not yet been finalized for this year and the one given here is tentative. Please check back in August for a refreshed application deadline date.
Applicants must be living in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas.
Applicants must be high school graduates.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of the academic record.
Demonstration of leadership qualities and community service in school.
