About the Scholarship

Clemson Non-Resident Grant Program is sponsored by Clemson University. The foundation was started by Thomas Green Clemson in the year 1889. The foundation was started to help hands for those students who are in financial need for their education and tuition fees. Clemson Non-Resident Grant Program is basically for those applicants who are out of state students who seek financial assistantship.

Basic requirements needed for applying to Clemson Non-Resident Grant Program? 

  • The applicants must have filed for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), by January 2 of their senior year in high school.

  • The students must maintain an ACT score of 29 or higher and an SAT score of 1320 in verbal/Math. 

  • This award is provided to out of state students who demonstrate both academic achievement and financial need assistance.

  • The high school transcript must be submitted at the time of admission


Clemson Non-Resident Grant Program amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $2500 annually based on the students' eligibility and is renewable for up to 3 additional years.

  • This number of awards offered by this scholarship varies each year depending on the available funds.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of December 01, 2020. Applications are available on the official website of Clemson University.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants must be U.S citizens for applying for this grant.

  • The applicant must be a high school senior at the time of application.

  • Must be a resident of the State other than South Carolina.

  • The applicant must plan to attend Clemson University.
