About the Scholarship

Clifford Spicer, the founder of Spicer Engineering, was a registered professional engineer and professional land surveyor who started this scholarship which is established by the Saginaw community foundation. The scholarship award is given to the resident of Michigan and in order to be the recipient of this scholarship, applicants must have good academic records.

How to Apply for this Scholarship?

  • The applicants who are applying for this scholarship must fill and submit the scholarship application form in order to receive this fund.

  • In addition to that, all applicants must submit the official transcripts of school or college to determine their academic enrollment in graduate studies.

  • A candidate must give reference letters from his or her faculty member and a letter of transmittal.

  • A candidate must demonstrate the financial need, community involvement, and leadership ability to receive this award.

  • Also, an applicant must prove their academic excellence by submitting ACT/SAT scorecards.

Award Amount and Deadline:

The scholarship award amount varies annually to any number of applicants.

The deadline date for this scholarship is 15th February 2019. All the applicants must apply for this scholarship on or before the mentioned date.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be residing in Michigan.

  • The applicant must be a high school senior or college student.

  • A candidate must pursue an undergraduate degree in land surveying or civil engineering major.

  • The student should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 if high school senior, 2.5 if a college freshman, or 3.0 if college junior.
