About the Scholarship
This "COCPA General Educational Foundation Scholarship for College Students" scholarship is organised by the organization 'Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA)' for tuition fees, dormitory room and board. This scholarship is for those candidates who are into accounting courses or upper-division accounting course.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website 'Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA)' and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- A student must submit his/her college transcript with a current grade point and cumulative accounting grade point.
- Applicant must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
In addition to that applicant must write and submit and a two-page essay on a topic listed in the scholarship application.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $2,500 per year and is non-renewable. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates varies depends on the number of eligible candidates is fifteen to twenty.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for this scholarship is the 30th of June.
The applicant must be a student of one of Colorado's accredited colleges and/or universities.
He/she should be enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester.
His/her major should be in accounting.
His/her grade point should be an average of 3.0 or higher.
Must have completed eight or more semester hours in accounting courses, including one upper-division accounting course. Graduate students intending to pursue an accounting-related career are also eligible.
This award is for international and U.S. students.
The applicant must b a resident of the U.S.
