About the Scholarship

Colorado Christian University School of Music Scholarship is accredited by Colorado Christian University. The foundation was established in the year 1914, The University is located in Lakewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Colorado Christian University School of Music Scholarship is available to those who wish to major or minor in music or theatre, and to those highly qualified non-majors who participate in select ensembles or theatre.


What are the basic requirements needed to apply for this scholarship?

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Students applying for this award must demonstrate a high level of musical ability, talent, and potential.

  • Applicants must complete the Music Audition Form to set up an audition by March 1 for priority scholarship consideration.

  • The applicant must have a CCU admission application in progress.

  • Music scholarships cannot be offered to anyone who does not have an application on file with the Admissions Office.


Colorado Christian University School of Music Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship amount varies depending on the student meeting their academic progress.

  • Funds apply to the academic year immediately following the application. All scholarship awards are disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis.


Deadline information

The applications are to be submitted by the end of March 01, 2020. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other information are available online on the Colorado Christian University website.

  • Applicant should have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Applicant should be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the field of Music

  • Applicant should show innate skills and proficiency in Music

  • A live audition is done as a part of the selection process
