About the Scholarship

Colorado Mesa University's First Generation Scholarship is licensed by Colorado Mesa University. The association was built up in the year 1925, Colorado Mesa University is an extensive regional public advanced education organization offering liberal arts, professional, and specialized projects at the master's, bachelor's, partner and endorsement levels. Colorado Mesa University's First Generation Scholarship is granted to approaching freshmen understudies whose guardians have not graduated with a four-year degree.

  • The students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to receive this award.

  • Applicants must demonstrate their financial need to apply for this grant.

Colorado Mesa University's First Generation Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides $1000 annually which is renewable.

  • Students must maintain excellent progress in the academic to meet the renewal criteria, the awards are available until the student earns a bachelor's degree or reaches a maximum of 120 attempted credit hours.

  • Applicant should be a high school graduate

  • Applicant's parents should not be college graduates

  • Applicant should have a GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
