About the Scholarship

Davidson College John Montgomery Belk Scholarship is accredited by Davidson College. The foundation was established by Presbyterians of North Carolina in the year 1837, Davidson is a liberal arts scholar college dedicated to cultivating humane instincts and disciplined creative minds. The John M. Belk Scholarship is one of the countries most renowned and liberal undergraduate scholarships. The Belk Scholarship will provide a comprehensive funding (tuition, fees, room, and board) also with special study stipends that allow students incredible adaptability in the on- and off-campus opportunities you choose to explore


What are the Basic requirements required for this scholarship?

  • The student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive this scholarship.

  •  A completed nomination must include high school transcripts and a recommendation letter including essays, SAT/ACT scores.

  • The students must engage in the classrooms with student and civic orientation, in the arts and the athletic field.

 

Davidson College John Montgomery Belk Scholarship amounts to

  • The John M. Belk Scholarship provides comprehensive funding (tuition, fees, room, and board), plus two special study stipends of $3,000 each.

  • The scholarship offers 5 awards annually.

 

Deadline information

The applicants must submit their application by the end of November 01, 2019. Applications are not taken into consideration. Applications are available on the official website of Davidson College

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be a U.S citizen

  • Must be a current high school senior to be nominated for this undergraduate award.

  • Students who are applying for this scholarship must apply to Davidson College in North Carolina by Dec. 3.

  • Must plan to attend a college or university in North Carolina
