About the Scholarship
This "Delaware Christa McAuliffe Teacher Incentive Program" award is awarded by the organization Delaware Higher Education Office for four years bachelor's and master's degree programs loan forgiveness. This scholarship is for high school undergraduate students.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website Delaware Higher Education Office and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- A student must submit updated college enrollment information.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
In addition to that applicant must write and submit and a two-page essay on a topic listed in the scholarship application.
All the official transcripts and documents should be submitted before the deadline.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $4,800 per year and is renewable for three additional years. The number of the award given to the eligible candidates per year varies and depends on applied eligible candidates and the availability of the fund of this scholarship.
Deadline of the scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 3rd of June.
At the time of applying for the scholarship, the candidate must be a senior at high school or college and enrolled program for teacher certification.
He/she must reside at Delaware.
He/she must be an eligible non-citizen or resident of the US.
He/she must have 1570 score or above in SAT and rank in the upper quarter of his/her high school class.
The applicant's cumulative grade point should be of 2.75 or higher if a current undergraduate.
