About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by the DeVry University, a university that's over 80 years and with a rich history. The founder of this university was Dr. Herman DeVry, who was the inventor of the first portable motion picture projector. The university was established with the vision of being an innovative institution that thrives on developing hands-on, career-driven programs that elevate working adult students and who positively impact the companies that employ them. The eligibility for this grant will be based on the student's SAT/ACT scores.

 


How to apply for the scholarship?

  • Interested applicants should have started classes at DeVry University within a year of graduating high school.

  • On getting admission at the university, students can be considered for the grant.

  • Students can get more information about the award from the DeVry University online site. 

  • Applicants should submit their academic transcripts, GPA scores, SAT/ACT scores, and FAFSA.


How much the scholarship award amounts to?

The award amounts to $500 to $2,500 per semester and is renewable for up to eight semesters.

The deadline date is set for May 18


Eligibility Criteria

  • A student must be enrolled in a certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree program at DeVry University.

  • Qualifying new and readmit undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolling in at least 6 credit hours per semester for the first semester at DeVry University are eligible including international students studying on an F1 visa and returning alumni.

  • student must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
