About the Scholarship
ESA Foundation Scholarship Program for Minority Students is accredited by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) foundation. This foundation provides scholarships to the next generation of industry innovators and supports charitable organizations and schools that leverage entertainment software and technology to create meaningful opportunities for America’s youth.
ESA Foundation Scholarship Program for Minority Students are provided to minority students who are pursuing degrees leading to careers in Computer & Video Game Arts.
What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?
Must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The understudies applying for this award must present a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
Students must demonstrate academic performance, Extracurricular activities and leadership.
ESA Foundation Scholarship Program for Minority Students award amounts to
This scholarship provides $3000 annually which is non-renewable, the awards will be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for course load at accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year colleges.
A total of 30 awards are offered by this scholarship each year based on the students meeting their requirements.
The applications are to be presented before the end of April 26, 2020. Understudies are informed to present their grant application, and other requirements are to be submitted before the due date. Applications and other data are accessible online on the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) foundation website.
The applicants must be U.S. citizen.
Must be a woman or minority student pursuing a degree leading to careers in computer and video game arts.
Must be accepted or enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
