About the Scholarship

Faulkner University Christian High School Scholarship is accredited by Faulkner University. The foundation came into existence since 1942. Their mission was to create an institution that provided preacher training and education based on God’s Holy Word. Faulkner University is a private, Christian based university, with a mission to give an education anchored by not only studies but also social and service, the Faulkner experience aims to educate them on the whole prospect.


How to apply for this scholarship?

  • Must graduate from a high school affiliated with the Churches of Christ and a member of the National Christian School Association (NCSA).

  • Candidates must maintain a satisfactory ACT score of 18 or higher and SAT SCores of 1290 or higher.

  • Students applying for this grant must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive these financial aids.

  • The student must submit the following: a $25 non-refundable application fee; a $50 non-refundable housing reservation fee

 

Faulkner University Christian High School Scholarship amounts to

  • This scholarship provides a maximum of $4580 annually which is renewable on completion of FAFSA.

  • This award is for up to 25% of tuition when coordinated with all federal, state, and other institutional grants.

  • The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of eligible students.

     

Deadline Information

The application will be available online on the official website of Faulkner University and must be submitted by the end of December 15, 2019. 


Eligibility Criteria

  •  A student must be in the traditional program and classified as a traditional student.

  • Adults who are classified as traditional students are not eligible Admission to Faulkner University is dependent upon previous education, character, and the desire to attend a Christian University.

  • Those applicants who qualify for admission are accepted without regard to race, religion, gender, handicap, or national origin.
