About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, a tax-exempt organization that helps individuals, families, businesses, and agencies support charitable causes throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Through their Community Grants Program, nonprofit organizations can apply for financial support to continue to do the work that enhances our communities. The grant supports graduating seniors with an emphasis on students who are pursuing a degree in the field of education, agriculture, or any other related areas. The candidate selection will be done based on factors including academic performance and financial need.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Interested applicants must first create an account on the Community Foundation of NCW online site and complete the eligibility quiz. Only then applicants will be able to access the individual applications for any eligible scholarships.
Along with the application, the applicants should submit their academic transcripts, EFC (expected family contribution) from their SAR (Student Aid Report), two reference contacts information, and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $1,500 yearly and is not automatically renewable
One scholarship will be provided per year.
The deadline date is set for March 1
The applicant must be a graduating senior of Ephrata High School
Enrolled at an accredited four-year college in the State of Washington
Will major in the field of education, and/or agriculture or related areas
Demonstrates scholastic ability
