About the Scholarship

The Prayer Soup Organization is funding the First Annual Scholarship to all high school seniors. There are no economic, ethnic, gender, religious or academic requirements for applicants to apply for this scholarship all students can apply for this award. A student must be enrolled in a higher education accredited in the United States in order to get this fund. The Prayer Soup mission is to get everyone talking and thinking about prayer must get this funding opportunity, hence there are no requirements set for this scholarship.


How to Apply?

Applicants are required to submit a written essay between 600-1200 words, describing a topic on personal prayer experience and its impact on a significant theme in their personal life experience, including, but not limited to gun violence, school shootings, immigration, climate change, gender and economic disparity, bullying or evolving sexual mores. Applicants must submit the essays in the form of a Word Document.


Award Amount and Deadline:

The Prayer Soup Organization is funding $1500 to one eligible applicant.

All applicants must apply for this scholarship before 31st December 2019.

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university to pursue a postsecondary education.

  • The applicant must submit an essay following the instructions.

  • The applicant must be a high school student.
