About the Scholarship
The American Indian Scholarship fund is providing Ford Motor Company Tribal College Scholarship to the American Indian and Alaska Native students attending tribal colleges or universities. A student must study a U.G or graduate degree in public or private college across the U.S. The award helps financially to the students who are in greater economical burden. The qualified students will get the scholarship award.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
An applicant needs to complete the full circle scholarship. For that, an applicant must submit official transcripts which are listed below.
A student must submit official transcripts of college or university. If an applicant is a high school student, he/she need to submit the official transcript of high school or GED scorecard.
In addition to that, a student needs to submit their birth certificate which demonstrates the descendency.
A student must upload a digital image of size 1.5MB.
Alaska students can show proof of Native corporation membership.
What is the Total Amount Awarded?
The Scholarship awards $3000 per year to any number of applicants. The awards are non-renewable.
A student should apply for this scholarship between 1st January to 31st May 2019.
An applicant must be a legal U.S citizen eligible to attend college under Jay Treaty provisions.
A student must enroll in a full-time study in certificate, associates, bachelors, or graduate programs.
Students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA out of 4 to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Students should Register as an enrolled member of a federal or state-recognized tribe and must submit the completed application form before the due date.
